We have been introducing our new 'Darwin' focus for this half term - 'Selfhelpability'! The children thought about some of the many ways in which they have changed since starting at Nursery and shared some of their achievements that they are proud of. We also talked about some of the things that they are still trying hard to do and what they could do in order to help themselves achieve this goal. Here are a few more examples of what the children are proud of : Henry - "I do the zip" (on his coat) Zena - "I can draw a smiley face" Eddie - "I can run super fast" And what they are still trying hard to do: Annie - "Write my name on a picture" Barney - "Things that grown-ups do, cook and do work" Emily - "Sleep in my own bed" We then helped them to think of things that they could do to help themselves to achieve these goals - they are all going to show SELFHELPABILITY!
