As we have had some snow this week, we thought this would be a great choice for our next Mick Inkpen book . . . We enjoyed reading about Kipper as he had fun making paw prints and catching swirling snowflakes on his tongue.
Kipper fell backwards into the snow and when he stood up, he found that he had made a perfect Kipper shaped hole! This was George's favourite part of the story and he told us "Kipper was making funny shapes of himself because he was lying down and then he went up again!" Kipper went to tell his friend Tiger about his new game - but when Tiger tried it, he couldn't get back up! Hope demonstrated as she told us "Tiger goes like this - he made a Snow Angel, he couldn't get up when Kipper said 'get up' because he had woolly clothes on him!" We really enjoyed this story and if you get a chance to read it, we hope you enjoy it too. Now we are waiting to see if we get any more snow!

We love the Kipper stories in our house. We only have one but usually borrow them from the library our favourite is Kippers toybox. After seeing Mike Inkpen is the new focus auther we took a trip to the library at the Lantern and have managed to get 6 new bedtime stories. Hopefully we will be able to buy a few once we have read them. Thank you for choosing one of our favourite authors :-)
