As you know, last term we had Ian Whybrow as our focus author linked to our activities based around 'dinosaurs'. This half-term we are going to have a focus on traditional tales, so will be sharing a range of well-loved stories with the children. We have decided to transform our book corner into a 'Fairytale Forest'! The children have been sharing their current knowledge of traditional tales, this is what Noah told us about Goldilocks and the Three Bears:
"Well, in that story there were three little bears and Goldilocks and Goldilocks ate the bear's porridge!" "And then Goldilocks broke Baby Bear's chair" "And . . . Goldilocks went outside and hid behind a bush, then when the bears came back Baby Bear saw his porridge had gone and his chair had broken!" Have you got a favourite traditional tale? Post us a comment and let us know!
