This term we have got a new focus author - we are going to be reading a variety of books written by Mick Inkpen. The first book that we have read is called 'Kipper's Toybox' and as our first mini theme this term is all about toys, we thought this would be a great story to start with! Here are a few of the responses that the children had when we had finished
sharing the book . . . Reuben - "I liked Kipper's toys. Sock Thing nibbled in Kipper's toybox, and the mouses did!" Charlie W - "When we went to grandad's we saw mice upstairs - and it scared nanna!" Oliver D - "The mouse wanted to get out of the sock - cause Kipper grabbed it. It wriggled!" Have you read this lovely story? We would love to hear about your favourite part!
