We were delighted when one of our parents brought in these photographs to share with us after they had spotted some dinosaurs on a recent visit to Telford! Can you identify the two different dinosaurs?
We would love to hear about any other dinosaur related experiences you have had - post us a comment and let us know!

There were so many colourful 'dinopants' designs from the children that we decided to incorporate some of their ideas and create some collaborative ones! How many pairs are hanging on our washing line?
Which design is your favourite? Post us a comment and let us know! Congratulations to Thomas, Noah and Olive for being awarded our 'Star of the Week' - the first of the term. Well done all of you! We thought that the dinosaurs and aliens might like us to design them some new 'Dinopants'! Here are just a couple of examples . . . "Squares!" (Henry) "There's a rainbow - there's pink, green, blue, purple, orange, red. There's pink on the bow!" (Bella) What would you have included in your design?
Post us a comment and let us know! After sharing the wonderful story books 'Dinosaurs Love Underpants' and 'Aliens Love Dinopants' (Claire Freedman & Ben Cort) we went out into the garden in search of some 'Dinopants' left behind by the dinosaurs and aliens! We described to each other where they were . . . "Under here!" We also found some 'in' the lavender and 'behind' the bird table!
We had lots of fun and helped each other to develop our use of positional vocabulary at the same time! Dougie Dino wanted to come and stay in our Nursery! He was feeling shy to begin with and a little bit worried about how he would settle in. We talked about how we could make sure that he felt safe and happy and created our own 'Dougie Dino's Nursery Charter'! Below are some of the things that we thought would be important . . . Remember to walk inside, you can run outside! If someone is feeling a little bit worried or sad, cheer them up with a cuddle! We are all going to help each other to remember what we have agreed and
ensure that our Nursery is always a safe and happy place to be for everyone! We hope that those who left us in July had a wonderful summer - and that you will continue to call in and see us from time to time, we would love to hear how you are all getting on! As we embark on the start of a new academic year we would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of our new children and their parents. We have been spending time getting to know each other and exploring some of the different areas and activities - here are just a few examples of what we have been up to . . . Now we are looking forward to having lots more fun!
