The children have all enjoyed our choice of Mick Inkpen story for this week . . . This is a lovely book and tells the story of how Kipper is searching for a better place to sleep. When Kipper tried to stand on one leg like the ducks he had seen, he could only wobble! Joey told us "He couldn't stand on his foot, he needs to learn to do it. I can do it already!" Kipper also tried to build a nest of sticks, but it wasn't very good! Eva-Mae told us this was "Cause he's got three sticks" She went on to tell us that he would need "A lot of sticks!" Towards the end of the story, Kipper found a nice dark hole, after we had finished the book, Henry told us "I liked when the badger came out of the hole. It was funny!" We won't spoil the ending for you, but we are sure that you will enjoy this story just as much as we did!
