On Tuesday we found out about St David's day - and talked about it also being the first day of Spring. St David is the patron saint of Wales and to celebrate the day, traditional festivities include wearing daffodils or leeks as well as eating traditional Welsh food including cawl and Welsh cakes and attending parades where traditional Welsh costumes are worn. We went for a walk in the spring sunshine to see all of our own beautiful daffodils! "There are loads! How did they all grow?" "I like daffodils, do you like daffodils?" Did you or someone you know celebrate St David's Day?
We would love to hear what you did - post us a comment and let us know!
