We have been having lots of fun today finding out about the Hindu festival of Holi.
This celebrates the arrival of spring flowers and when the main crops are almost ready for the spring harvest. As part of the celebrations, people throw brightly coloured powder and water at each other!
It was lots of fun choosing and 'throwing' our favourite coloured powder
paint onto our spring flowers! Earlier in the week, the children explored the 'Splash' activity on the computer for their collaborative group 'Colour Creations' . . .
Which colours would you have chosen to use?
Watch the following video clips to find out more about Holi . . .
We hope you have had a 'colourful' day!
